FACE - TAKE NUMBER 8

By the time the sets were lit and ready to go on the day of the shoot, there were only a few hours left for actual shooting. While Ruby worked incredibly hard as the on-camera talent, the group choreography involved in making the film work was not trivial; the entire crew and cast (some of whom doubled as crew) had to synchronize their moves like bunraku puppeteers to sell the story. Something went wrong in each of the first seven takes, but everything fell into place on the eighth take. That take, shown here, was used in the final film.
